    Built to sit as close to the face as possible, Oakley’s new Kato Sunglasses provide a mask-like feel. The frameless, wrap-around Prizm lens bends around the nose, allowing it to sit closer to the face. An adjustable rake mechanism tilts the lens to the ideal angle for the wearer and joins three different no-slip Unobtainium nose pads to ensure a customized, seamless fit.

    Professional cyclist Chris Froome was spotted rocking a pair of previously unseen Oakley sunglasses during the Vuelta an España, a 21-stage Grand Tour race that winds around the Iberian peninsula. The sleek, all-black shades bore Oakley’s signature wraparound design but seemed to lack a frame entirely — and included a unique extension of the one-piece lens over the bridge of the nose.

    True to speculation, the Kato is strange — mask-like and completely frameless. Oakley figured out how to get rid of the extra plastic and instead put frame-mimicking points of rigidity right in the lens — notice how the lens gets thicker and flares outward at the forehead, like a frame. Oakley says that building the glasses this way brings the lens closer to the face.

    The Kato’s feature set doesn’t stop with the frameless design either. It has a place for rubberized nose pads that is seemingly stuck right onto the back of the lens and comes with three different sizes. Plus, its sidearms rotate, changing the tilt of the glasses to accommodate variations in face shape while maintaining the close fit.

    Bugatti reveals carbon fiber Pool Table engineered to Molsheim standards

    Carbon fiber finish, innovative self-levelling technology, made in limited numbers with the best quality materials – a new pool table by Bugatti that is true to the values of the luxury marque.

    The ultimate Bugatti collection always begins with a hyper sports car parked in the garage of the high-performance connoisseur. But the dedication to Bugatti can expand beyond four-wheel products that come from the Atelier in Molsheim. The newest product from the Bugatti Lifestyle collection is a Pool Table that is adorned in carbon fiber, built to the matching high standards of the famous model range from the French luxury marque. Now Bugatti aficionados can build on their dedication to Molsheim at home – or at sea – with the new Pool Table featuring optional highly advanced gyroscopic self-levelling technology for use on a yacht.

    The Bugatti Lifestyle collection has expanded once again with the addition of the Bugatti Pool Table that reflects the best qualities of the hyper sports cars made in Molsheim. The officially licensed Pool Table – made in partnership with IXO®, designers and specialists of carbon fiber product construction – is the ideal addition for any Bugatti collector.

    True to the Bugatti name, the Pool Table uses innovative technology to give it the edge over rival products. An optional servo-driven system deploys a gyroscopic sensor to level the table – in case of installation on board a yacht. Each leg can move to compensate for the movement of a ship and remain perfectly level. The system can adjust in just 5 milliseconds, and the movement is completed in total silence with vibration-free adjustment.

    Just like the hyper sports cars made in Molsheim, the Bugatti Pool Table is made of the highest quality materials and even wears the famous Bugatti badge. The carbon fiber finish of the Pool Table represents the sporting nature of the French luxury marque, while the strong frame of the table is underpinned by machined aluminum and titanium. The product meets the standards of a professional tournament pool table.

    A unique plate adorns each Bugatti Pool Table, displaying the famous Bugatti logo and the limited-edition number for each product – just like with every hyper sports car receives from the Atelier. The Pool Table is made in a limited run of 30 tables, with five to be made by IXO® in 2021. The sides of the drawers of the Pool Table are manufactured with CNC-machined, brushed and anodized aluminum, complete with the Bugatti logo. Ball pockets made from stainless steel are lined with leather, with fittings complete with titanium screws and nuts to prevent corrosion from aluminum parts.

    While the Bugatti Pool Table complements any hyper sports car in a collection, products in a range of official accessories are the perfect match for this sports equipment. The wall cue support is finished in carbon fiber, also featuring a 13-inch, high-resolution touch screen to keep track of scores. The carbon fiber pool cues feature anodized and CNC-machined aluminum ends that are made to the same design of the buttons of Bugatti hyper sports cars.

    A dimmable LED ceiling light is also made with carbon fiber, while other official branded Bugatti accessories include a chalk box, finished in black with anodized aluminum, cleaning brush in black, a suitcase made in Bugatti leather to transport the set of Aramith Tournament Pro balls while a USB key, presented also in a CNC-machined aluminium case, includes photos and videos of each table made, so the customer could see the full history of the manufacturing steps of their Pool Table. The box is lined with the same leather used in the construction of the Pool Table.

    ANDRES SARDA ha inaugurado hoy la primera jornada de la pasarela de MBFWM con la presentación de su primer fashion film Who is she? inspirado en cinco mujeres extraordinarias que con su perseverancia y talento cambiaron su destino y definen la nueva colección otoño-invierno 2021-2022 de Andres Sarda.

    Ellas son Raven Wilkinson, la primera mujer negra en formar parte de una compañía relevante de ballet clásico; Yuja Wang, la pianista prodigio que empezó a tocar a los seis años; Margaret Hughes, la primera actriz femenina del teatro británico, pionera sobre las tablas tras levantarse el veto que prohibía a las mujeres actuar; Tamara Rojo, bailarina española que actualmente ejerce de directora artística del English National Ballet en Londres y Renata Tebaldi, la soprano dramática italiana que con su “voz de ángel” conmovió durante décadas encima de los escenarios.

    Acto I: Raven nos seduce con su maravilloso tejido de seda y modal con encaje de algodón de tacto inolvidable. Una línea que potencia la feminidad y belleza de quien lo lleva sin comprometer la comodidad. De color rosa maquillaje y marrón oscuro, incluye piezas, como un delicado bandeau, pensadas para combinar también con prendas exteriores.

    Acto II: Wang es música para el cuerpo con su crepé de seda estampado, muy agradable en contacto con la piel. El encaje de alta costura leavers en negro aporta las notas de contraste. Prendas de fantasía que con su sugerente estampado de acuarela en colores crema y negro trascienden los límites de la moda íntima.

    Acto III: Margaret representa la valentía de romper con las normas y lo hace con mezclas sorprendentes de colores: azul con caldera y malva con coral, en un conjunto de piezas en las que destaca el famoso encaje francés leavers, en esta ocasión elástico. Brilla encima del escenario un sostén triangular nuevo que sin aro, ofrece sujeción y perfila la forma gracias a un relleno de lo más sutil.

    Acto IV: Tamara es todo sofisticación. Una secuencia armónica de movimientos que integran encaje de alta costura, tul bordado a contraste y raso de seda elástico. En su versión más extrovertida, el burdeos se superpone al fucsia. En su versión más visual, el bordado y el encaje en negro se superponen al cuerpo en un sugerente juego de tapar y destapar.

    Acto V: Renta nos transporta a otro mundo con esta colección cápsula en la que se borda con paillettes un tul invisible ribeteado con encaje leavers elástico. Una impactante yuxtaposición de materiales que ofrece una gran potencia visual, pero que al mismo tiempo destaca por la simplicidad de su linea. Y es que lo esencial es siempre invisible a los ojos.

    La presentación de este fashion film se ha acompañado de una puesta en escena que ha querido traspasar la pantalla y que ha convertido por unos instantes la pasarela de MBFWM en una gran sala de baile al más puro estilo de los felices años 20. Una performance en la que bailarinas y modelos han evocado la fiebre y el espíritu cabaretero haciendo bailar a los asistentes entre los que se encontraban rostros conocidos como Fiona Ferrer, Belinda Washington, Boris Izaguirre, Alejandro Palomo, Abril Raluy, Ángela Rozas (Madamederosa), Susana Molina y Mar Regueras.

    Una efervescencia que ha encontrado el mejor aliado en el cava Mistinguett Brut, espumoso que como Andres Sarda rinde homenaje a las mujeres que trabajan cada día para hacer realidad sus sueños. Mistinguett es de hecho el apodo de la famosa vedette de la época, Jeanne Bourgeois, que con audacia, esfuerzo y constancia consiguió convertirse en un icono de todos los tiempos.

    LEVEL TOUCH – SMART LOCK

    It does all the things you expect from a smart lock — except look like one. Level’s new Touch lock hides all the necessary technology inside a traditional lock footprint, letting it blend seamlessly into any decor. As the name suggests, it can open with just a touch, as well as with a key card, traditional physical key, or via an app. HomeKit integration allows for remote operation and control, and simple installation instructions mean it can be set up using nothing more than a simple screwdriver.

    Smart lock company Level, which made its name with the Level Bolt that fits most doors and doesn’t look like a smart lock, has added a new device to its lineup that takes the existing benefits of the Bolt and adds a key new one: capacitive touch. Despite that addition, the Level Touch still doesn’t resemble a smart lock. There’s no obvious place you need to touch, nor is there a keypad or other tell-tale sign this is no ordinary lock — once set up, users just touch a fingertip to the edge of the lock to unlock or lock it. The lock uses low energy Bluetooth to confirm that the person touching it also has an authenticated smartphone on their person.

    The Level Touch also supports all of the other access methods you’d expect from a smart lock, including hotel-style programmable access cards, a smartphone app (Android or iOS), geo-fencing, and the ability to share timed access with people remotely. It’s that deep feature set, along with the understated design that offers no clues to the smartness contained within to the casual observer that goes some way to justifying the hefty price tag of $329.

    That might be hard to stomach if you live alone in an apartment block, but could seem like decent value if you’ve got a big family, frequent visitors, or want to use the Level Touch for an Airbnb property.

    SECRETLY SMART — Fingerprint support at this sort of price point is increasingly common in smart locks, but Level’s job of hiding its smartness is its unique selling point. Having a smart lock that makes it clear to anyone who cares to look that it’s a smart lock makes it more likely someone will try to meddle with it. By looking like a regular lock, the Level Touch is almost certainly more secure. To help it match your existing fixtures the smart lock is available in chrome, brass, nickel, or black.

    Power comes from a CR2 battery that lives in the deadbolt, and that Level reckons ought to last a year between changes. You’ll be warned well in advance of the battery dying, and if it does, there’s always the option to go old school and, you know, use a physical key in the lock. Installation shouldn’t take more than a few minutes, and though you’ll likely be able to do it yourself, Level had partnered with a company called HelloTech that’ll assist for a fee if necessary.

    In addition to geofencing that’ll trigger the lock when you or family members are a certain distance away, there’s also the option to set an auto-lock function after a pre-determined delay. The only problem with that is there’s no way of telling if the door’s accidentally been left ajar. Depending on your abode and housemates / family, that may not be a problem. Despite having no visible spring or other mechanism to thank / blame, for instance, my apartment’s door closes by itself if left to its own devices. I suspect it’s hung ever so slightly skew and gravity is to thank.

    AT LEAST SOMEONE LOVES SIRI Our other concern with Level’s Touch (and the Bolt that preceded it, for that matter) is that though it offers support for voice commands and scheduled actions, these features are only supported for Apple’s HomeKit smart home platform, not for Amazon’s Alexa or Google Assistant. Most functionality is available via the Android app, but with the smart home platform market having settled on the three aforementioned purveyors, it’s frustrating that only Apple’s is supported.

    Grilamid BTR XE 4010, el nombre científico del polímero, es un sustituto sostenible de TR90. Se extrae de Castor Plant, pero ofrece las mismas características que el nailon TR90 (duradero, flexible, liviano, se puede doblar, es menos probable que se rompa) sin requerir el uso de gasolina.

    La planta de aceite de ricino se cultiva hoy principalmente en la India. Durante su fase de crecimiento, las plantas son capaces de unir grandes cantidades de CO2.     Una de los modelos de Serengeti que usan eco-nylon son las Bellemon, unas gafas deportivas pero chic. El puente de la nariz en forma de ojo de cerradura  otorga una fuerte personalidad a esta gafa estilo navegante, mientras que el fondo angular le da una silueta moderna.
