Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini: the perfect synthesis of Italian sporting style
Unveiled at the San Marino MotoGP, the 630-unit limited edition Ducati motorcycle inspired by the Lamborghini Huracán STO
Misano Adriatico/Sant’Agata Bolognese, 2 September 2022 – The new Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini, inspired by the Huracán STO super sports car, was unveiled to the public at the San Marino Grand Prix at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. The bike is the result of the second collaborative project between the two brands, ambassadors of Made in Italy, which in 2020 gave birth to the Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini, inspired by the Sián.
The most stunning Ducati Streetfighter V4 produced is a motorcycle that perfectly embodies the values of style, sportiness, and exclusivity shared by Ducati and Lamborghini, the two brands of excellence that have helped write the history of Italy’s “Motor Valley” and that have renewed and expanded their collaboration with this luxury project. The result is a combination of technology, performance and beauty to deeply inspire enthusiasts from the very first look.
Applying the well-known “Fight Formula” to the technical base of the Panigale V4 S 2023 and integrating elements and stylistic features that are unmistakably Lamborghini, Ducati has created an exclusive all-new model within its range. The bike is produced in a numbered limited series of 630 units and reinterprets in a Ducati key the concepts that led to the creation of the Lamborghini Huracán STO, integrating technical and stylistic elements typical of Lamborghini DNA, including the exclusive livery in green and orange.
The Ducati Style Center, in collaboration with Lamborghini’s Centro Stile, redesigned the superstructures of this special bike, drawing inspiration from the Huracán STO. It features specially-made forged wheels enhanced by the titanium clamping nut on the rear; the front fender design is inspired by the air ducts integrated in the Huracán STO’s “cofango”; the toe cap, radiator cover, wings, tank cover and tail are all made of carbon fiber, the same used for the super sports cars from Sant’Agata Bolognese.
The livery features the STO logo and the number 63, which refers to the year in which Lamborghini was founded. This number, multiplied by ten, gives the 630 units to be produced by Ducati, each accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. The luxury colors used for the bike are exactly the same as those used for the Huracán STO, with a base in “Verde Citrea” (green) and contrasting parts in “Arancio Dac” (orange). The model name and the progressive number are shown on a metal plate inserted in the central tank cover and an aluminum insert on the ignition key.
There are also grille extractors and air intakes on the tank cover, toe cap and tail piece that explicitly echo the Huracán STO’s rear brake cooling ducts; the vents on the car’s front fenders; and the hood extraction vents. The bike’s seat is also inspired by the Huracán STO’s seat finish with accents matching the superstructure. At the heart of the Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini is the 1103 cc Desmosedici Stradale engine with power of 208 hp with a dry clutch, as on the Ducati MotoGP™ and Superbike models.
Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini: the perfect synthesis of Italian sporting style
In addition to the 630 examples of Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini, Ducati will offer an even more exclusive series dedicated to 63 Lamborghinicustomers who, thanks to the Ducati Style Center, will be able to create unique examples by customizing their Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini with livery and rims in the same color as their car, completing the bike through Ducati’s Speciale Clienti program. It will then be possible to choose the brake caliper colors and seat details from those included in the Huracán STO palettes: yellow, red, black and California orange, in addition to the standard color scheme.
Finally, owners of the Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini will be able to complete their look with a helmet, jacket and limited-edition bike leathers, in colorways reflecting their Ducati bike’s specification.
Huracán STO – Combined fuel consumption: 13.9 l/100km; Combined CO2 emissions: 331 g/km (WLTP)

White Motorcycle Concepts WMC250EV can reach a speed of 400 km/h
The WMC250EV records 70% less aerodynamic drag
The British company White Motorcycle Concepts (WMC) intends to break the world speed record for an electric motorcycle with the WMC250EV, which would be capable of reaching more than 400 km/h by greatly reducing aerodynamic drag.
The appearance of this super fast bike, extravagant at first glance, is very well calculated from the point of view of aerodynamics. The bike has a hole that goes from the front to the rear. According to its manufacturer, this system of holes, called “V-Air”, will allow it to be the most “aerodynamically efficient motorcycle in the world”.
After two years of development, the British company White Motorcycle Concepts (WMC) has presented a 2-wheel-drive electric motorcycle with hydraulic hub steering, the WMC250EV, with
which it wants to beat the world speed record in 2022. According to the company , the WMC250EV should be able to reach over 250 mph (402 km/h) thanks to a whopping 69% reduction in aerodynamic drag.
The bike uses a hydraulic steering system to control the front wheel. The rear wheel is chain-driven by a pair of 30kW electric motors, while two 20kW drive the front wheel. Together they provide a total of 100kW or 134 hp. The battery pack is located under the bodywork and has a capacity of 15 kWh.
Despite the WMC250EV curb weight being over 300kg, its creators aim to accelerate the electric motorcycle to speeds in excess of 402km/h, a feat that would surpass the Voxan Wattmann mark of 366.94km. /h.
Not only because of the drastic increase in speed and acceleration, but because its design also increases energy efficiency, increasing autonomy. In addition, says WMC, it represents an improvement in the stability of the motorcycle because it adheres more to the road, which allows other technological improvements that are not possible in traditional motorcycles.

What’s in Future Lab at the 2022 Festival of Speed
The 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard is just days away and we’re incredibly excited for everyone to see what’s in store. In addition to the unrivalled roster of cars, bikes, drivers and riders, Future Lab presented by Randox brings a new dimension, a look at the future of mobility in the air, on land, under the sea and deep into space. So given that Future Lab is bigger than ever this year, we thought we’d highlight a few exhibits you simply mustn’t miss.
E1 powerboats
The UIM E1 World Championship Series will be the first racing series for electric powerboats, with grids of RaceBird vessels taking to waters at iconic city locations to do battle. A full-size model will be on display at FOS Future Lab, while visitors will be able to sit in a representative cockpit and have a go in an advanced simulator to experience E1 in the virtual world.
Saab SeaEye
Saab Seaeye provides incredible, remotely-operated vehicles for ocean exploration and industrial purposes. A number of these underwater robots will be on display, including the Sabretooth, which is the vehicle that found the Endurance, Sir Ernest Shackleton’s vessel that sank in the Antarctic 107 years ago. The Saab Sabretooth had to descend 3,000 metres in pitch black frozen waters in search of this legendary vessel, finding it in good condition, with ‘Endurance’ still proudly and clearly emblazoned on its stern. This robot, like Endurance itself, is now an important piece of history and a testament to the potential of robotics in the exploration
Northern Light Motors
Meanwhile in the comfort of our cities and on our roads, Northern Light Motors want to revolutionise personal transport, and not with some anonymous pod you have to share. This is high-end car design crossing paths with environmentally friendly future mobility. The designer is the man who penned the TVR Sagaris and that flair is obvious in the NLM. This in spite of the fact it’s an electrically-augmented three-wheeled eBike and not a 400PS supercar. The company will be debuting the fully production-ready versions of these awesome little machines in the Future Lab. We can’t wait to see them in person.
eSkootr
Joining the E1 electric boat series as a brand-new motorised sport on show at Future Lab is eSkootr, a championship for electric scooter racing. The series reimagines racing as a platform for future sustainable urban mobility. A number of quirks of the sport include the fact that it’s due to never return to the same city twice and that race riders will come from a variety of different sports. You’ll be able to see one of the eSkootrs on display in Future Lab, while visitors can also try Electrik City, a VR experience where you can watch eSkootr races with an Unreal Engine simulation. Riders will also be riding them up the Hill on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Teslasuit
From the future of transport, to the metaverse – the Teslasuit is here to transport your whole body to the virtual world. Not actually any relation to the Tesla of the motoring world, the Teslasuit is, however, arguably as sophisticated. Full body haptics, motion capture and biometric sensors make up a platform that can be used for everything from F1 driver simulations, to safety or fitness training and body monitoring. At Future Lab, a Teslasuit demo will be available where visitors can experience this incredible full-body tech.
Interstellar Lab
How do you grow food in space? This is a question Interstellar Lab is trying to answer. With the revolutionary BioPod it can create conditions to grow pretty much anything, anywhere on Earth. The next step is taking that tech into space, to the Moon, Mars and possibly beyond. At Future Lab, you’ll be able to take part in a VR experience exploring one of these BioPods and what they can do.
Airspeeder
Airspeeder is the world’s first electric VTOL flying race series, dubbed ‘the F1 of the skies’. Pilotted E-VTOLs with eight motors and four rotors will be battling it out on virtual circuits in our skies soon but for now, at Future Lab, you’ll be able to take part in a VR driver experience. You’ll also be able to see an Airspeeder Mk3 race car in person when it’s on display on the maker’s stand.
All of these exciting experiences and much more will be there to enjoy as Future Lab opens at the 2022 Festival of Speed. We’re excited to show you the future of mobility and beyond, as well as its present and past.

Royal Automobile Club’s Torrens Trophy awarded to Peter Hickman, Emma Bristow and Crescent Yamaha
The Royal Automobile Club honoured three winners of its prestigious Torrens Trophy at a presentation dinner on Monday 14 March at the Pall Mall clubhouse in London. It was the first time the Trophy could be awarded in person since speedway legend Tai Woffinden was recognised for claiming his third Speedway World Championship in 2018.
Guests included James Toseland and Ian Kerr MBE – both past winners of the Torrens Trophy – plus a notable roll call of motorcycling personalities and industry figures, including 2021 British Superbike Champion Tarran Mackenzie.
Three trophies were awarded, the first being to 2019 winner Peter Hickman for his trio of Isle of Man TT victories that year, and for setting the world’s fastest motorcycle road lap record of 136.415mph at the Ulster Grand Prix. Staffordshire-born Hickman has become one of the leading road-racers and his TT wins were described by former racer Barrie Baxter – Chairman of the Torrens Trophy Nominations Committee – as being ‘pure poetry’.
Hickman said: ‘I’m obviously really proud to have won the Royal Automobile Club’s Torrens Trophy. It’s such a prestigious trophy that many great names have won over the years. A massive thank you to Alan, Rebecca and everyone at the former Smiths Racing Team.’
After a two-year hiatus, the Isle of Man TT returns this year and Hickman is looking forward to picking up where he left off in 2019. With five TT wins now under his belt, he’s determined to add to that, and has entered six races including Superbike, Supersport, Superstock and Supertwin.
The 2020 Torrens Trophy winner was Emma Bristow, who claimed her seventh consecutive FIM Women’s Trial World Championship. Bristow’s success marked the first time in more than 40 years that the Torrens Trophy has been awarded to a female motorcyclist. It’s also the first time that the trials world has been recognised, despite that discipline being close to the heart of Arthur Bourne. The former Editor of The Motor Cycle and Vice Chairman of the Royal Automobile Club wrote a column under the pen name ‘Torrens’, and it was in his honour that the trophy was inaugurated in 1979.
In 2014, Bristow became the first British rider to win the Women’s FIM Trial World Championship and continues to dominate the sport at an international level. In 2020, she won the title after going unbeaten in the TrialGP Women class, with six wins from six starts.
Having started riding motorcycles at the age of four, the 31-year-old from Louth, Lincolnshire is now a nine-times world champion, having also won two World SuperEnduro Championships. Add to her tally 10 Women’s British Trials Championships, two Women’s European Trials Championships, one Latin American Championship (mixed gender category) and she’s without doubt one of the UK’s most successful female athletes.
Bristow said: ‘I’m truly honoured to have won the Torrens Trophy – and to be the first female winner. I’m really looking forward to 2022 and I’m already working hard to try to win another World Championship and break the current record of 35 GP wins. I still want to keep improving and developing as a rider. Yes, I hope my success inspires more girls to get into two-wheeled motorsport, but for me it’s also about girls seeing it’s not just the men who can ride bikes at a high level. We can succeed if we work hard, and this is something I’m really passionate about.’
The final winner on the night was the Crescent Yamaha WorldSBK team, which was awarded the Torrens Trophy for becoming the first British team to win the Riders’, Teams’ and Manufacturers’ titles in the 2021 FIM World Superbike Championship.
Founded by Edward ‘Ted’ Denning – who rode his Triumph in Guernsey’s sand races before World War Two – Crescent Racing has been competing at the top level in national and international racing for the past 25 years. It has won races and Championships in everything from British Superbikes and World Superbikes to MotoGP, enduro and moto cross, and since 2016 it has run the official Yamaha team in World Superbikes from a state-of-the-art purpose-built facility in Dorset.
Paul Denning, Managing Director of Crescent and Team Principal, was delighted to receive the prestigious award: ‘We have been aware of the Torrens Trophy for many years and have greatly enjoyed seeing such British stars as Sam Sunderland and Cal Crutchlow receive it in the past. For Crescent Yamaha to be recognised by the Royal Automobile Club and the Torrens committee is a real honour and we are so proud to receive the 2021 award, which only adds to the satisfaction of the team’s achievements last year. We are now very much focused on looking forward towards the 2022 season and doing everything we can to again be competitive, but the Torrens Trophy is a great way to cap off 2021!’
Royal Automobile Club Chairman Ben Cussons said: ‘The Royal Automobile Club has always had a close association with the motorcycling world since the Club formed the Auto Cycle Club in 1903, which went on to become the Auto Cycle Union in 1947. I would like to extend a huge congratulations to our Torrens Trophy winners for the past three years and thank Peter, Emma and the Crescent Yamaha team for their outstanding achievements and contribution to the motorcycling scene – they are everything the Torrens Trophy represents; each of them providing a true showcase of British motorcycling skill and technical excellence’
In addition to Ben Cussons, the Club’s Torrens Trophy Nominations Committee consists of ex-motorbike and car racer Barrie Baxter, respected motorcycle journalist and TT winner Mat Oxley, commentator and former racer Steve Parrish, Club member Richard Bourne (son of Arthur Bourne), and ‘Queen of Bikers’ Maria Costello MBE, who has held the Guinness World Record for being the fastest woman to lap the Isle of Man TT course.
The Torrens Trophy
The Torrens Trophy recognises an individual or organisation considered to have made an outstanding contribution to the cause of safe and skilful motorcycling in the United Kingdom, or to have made an outstanding contribution of technical excellence to further the cause of motorcycling in the UK, or to have shown outstanding skill in international motorcycling sporting events.
The Torrens Trophy was first awarded in 1978 in memory of Arthur Bourne, a motorcycling journalist who wrote a column under the name ‘Torrens’. Arthur Bourne was also a Vice-Chairman of the Royal Automobile Club. It is awarded only when the Club feels that the achievement justifies it. Previous winners of the Torrens Trophy include:
2018 Tai Woffinden for being the most successful British speedway rider in history.
2017 Jonathan Rea MBE for being the first rider to win three consecutive World Superbike Championships.
2016 MotoGP racer Cal Crutchlow for being first British rider to win a premier class World Championship Motorcycle Grand Prix in 35 years.
2015 Eleven-time TT winner Ian Hutchinson for his outstanding determination, courage and overcoming adversity to win multiple TTs.
2014 Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne for becoming the first man in history to be crowned British Superbike Championship on four occasions (2003, 2008, 2012 and 2014).
2013 Tom Sykes for being crowned the 15th World Superbike Champion, the fourth from Great Britain and only the second rider to win for Kawasaki in the series for 20 years.
2008 World Superbike Champion James Toseland was awarded the Trophy for his immense contribution to raising the profile of motorcycle racing in this country.
1998 Ian Kerr of the Metropolitan Police for 20 years of tireless work in promoting safe and responsible motorcycling.
1989 BMW in recognition for its contribution to motorcycle safety through the development of its anti-lock braking system.
1981 Dave Taylor MBE for his vast contribution to motorcycle road safety.
1980 Transport and Road Laboratory.
1979 Lieutenant-Colonel Fredrick Lovegrove OBE.
The Royal Automobile Club
The Royal Automobile Club was founded in 1897 and its distinguished history mirrors that of motoring itself. In 1907, the Club was awarded its Royal title by King Edward VII, sealing the Club’s status as Britain’s oldest and most influential motoring organisation.
The Club’s early years were focused on promoting the motor car and its place in society, which developed into motoring events such as the 1000 Mile Trial, first held in 1900. In 1905, the Club held the first Tourist Trophy, which remains the oldest continuously competed-for motorsport event. The Club promoted the first pre-war and post-war Grands Prix at Brooklands in 1926 and Silverstone in 1948 respectively, while continuing to campaign for the rights of the motorist, including introducing the first driving licences.
