Enhancements to the property include the addition of 21 new luxury suites, including the Villa Solaz Suite. The spacious, new Villa Solaz Suite defines roominess and with its 10,645 square feet and its 4 private bedrooms, offering an exquisite atmosphere for an elevated gathering experience. Inside, guests will have access to a private chef, private mixologist, and exclusive Artisan Butler service, all of which ensures their stay is tailor-made to the smallest detail. The resort will also debut two Wellness Suites, focusing on relaxation and whole-body therapy. The relaxation Wellness Suite boasts a double-bed massage table and steam room, while the whole-body therapy Wellness Suite offers heated loungers combined with meditation visors and halotherapy that balance the alkalization of the body through an immersive experience. The new suites increase the resort’s total room count to 145 guest rooms and suites.

Another distinct enhancement to the property is the addition of Mako Beach, poised to become Los Cabos’ newest hotspot. The use of Positive Vapor Deposition (PVD) – a process in which a solid material is vaporized in a vacuum and deposited onto the surface of the product – is another key breakthrough for the eyewear industry that’s been first successfully employed during the creation of Collection One. The PVD acts as a Diamond Like Coating, a surface that is highly resistant to wear and is also used throughout the development and production of Bugatti automobiles.

The use of carbon fiber and Macassar ebony is another impeccable design iteration that pays homage to Bugatti’s automobiles, as does the use of the famed red enamel Macaron. An intricate custom wirecore, developed in sheets to mirror the timeless grill pattern that adorns each Bugatti hyper sports car’s horseshoe radiator, forms an exquisite fusion of the ‘then’ and ‘now’ on each of the 37 examples.

Tennis and Padel Activities

 

 

Take to the courts with your kids the Father’s Day and compete against other parent and child teams in a Doubles Tournament. Places are limited to just 16 pairs of under 10s and their parents. Starting at 4pm on the 19th of March and finishing on the 20th of March at 12.00, this will be a great way to get active with your kids and bond over your love for tennis. There will be tapas and paella in the Racquet Centre bar for all the participants on Sunday and entry is 40€ per pair.

Join us for padel and tennis Mix-Ins on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday mornings. It’s a great way to practice, improve your skills and make new friends. What’s more, a new padel pro – Pernille Bossy – has recently joined our team and she will take your game to another level!

Alternatively, our young players can also compete on the 27th of March in our Junior Tennis Tournament and there’s a padel Mix-In for their parents at the same time.

LRC Workshop- 26th March

 

 

To celebrate the start of Spring, we’re organising a blooming marvellous workshop on the 26th of March. Attendees will be creating a stunning flower centrepiece alongside the experts from Areka florists, followed by a delicious afternoon tea on the terrace at the Club House. The workshop starts at 11.30 and costs 20€ per person including both the workshop and the afternoon tea.

Easter Holiday Camps

From the 10th to the 17th of April, children from 6 to 12 years old are invited to make the most of their time off at La Reserva Club. There’s a packed programme of activities over the week, from golf and tennis to riding and watersports, all led by an amazing teaching team. Easter Sunday Family Fun

There are some fantastic family activities taking place at Racque Centre for Easter Sunday (17th April). From 11am the little ones can take part on workshops to paint Easter eggs and design and make bags to use for collecting Easter eggs. Once they have their bags, they can take part in a fun Easter Egg Hunt around the Racquet Centre and see how many yummy eggs they can find. Last but not least, there’s a sports day with lots of great activities including sack races or archery to enjoy.

Jaeger Lecoultre presents the Reverso tribute minute repeater

Ninety years after the birth of the Reverso, and 150 years after creating its first minute repeater, Jaeger-LeCoultre presents the Reverso Tribute Minute Repeater. Offered in a limited edition of 10 pieces, this exquisite new timepiece unites two of the key themes that have defined La Grande Maison for much of its history: an exceptional expertise in chiming watches and the timeless story of the Reverso.

With its distinctive Art Deco lines and swivelling case, the Reverso is one of the world’s most recognisable wristwatches. Its story embodies Jaeger-LeCoultre’s eternal pursuit of beauty and aesthetic refinement, expanding the Reverso’s stylistic realm by harnessing the full potential of its unique design. Allied to this is the Manufacture’s endlessly inventive quest for technical advancement – from the revolutionary idea of a case that could be flipped over, and the ingenious mechanism that made it possible, to the development of complications specific to the Reverso.

 

A distinguished legacy in chiming watches

In the 1990s, amid the rebirth of mechanical watchmaking that followed the quartz crisis, the Reverso – with its distinctive rectangular case – became the vehicle through which the Manufacture would redevelop its expertise in high complications. Having mastered the added challenge that rectangular movements dictate an entirely different architecture from that of traditional round movements – a particularly demanding challenge for chiming mechanisms – Jaeger-LeCoultre presented the Reverso Répétition Minutes in 1994. It was the first time the Maison had miniaturised a minute repeater for a wristwatch and was the world’s first rectangular minute repeater movement.

In fact, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s mastery of chiming mechanisms dates back to the very foundation of the Manufacture in 1833, and its deep expertise is today confirmed by an archive of more than 200 chiming calibres. Since that first Reverso minute repeater of the 1990s, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s engineers and designers have redefined the benchmark for acoustic quality, harnessing new technology in service of this noble tradition.

A new expression for the Minute Repeater

Embodying technical advances such as Jaeger-LeCoultre’s patented trebuchet hammers, silent regulator and a new generation of gongs, the Reverso Tribute Minute Repeater is powered by a revised version of Calibre 944 – a movement entirely conceived, designed and produced within the Manufacture. The new timepiece is distinguished by dials on both the front and reverse sides, bringing a fresh visual expression to the timeless Reverso design, as well as to the minute repeater mechanism itself. While the dials both display the same time, they are very different in character – one exuberant, the other more sober. Both are a testament to the beauty of fine movement decoration and the exceptional level of craftsmanship that resides within the Manufacture.

The front dial is entirely skeletonised, revealing the full complexity of the minute repeater mechanism and presenting a mesmerising display of moving parts when the minute repeater is activated. Beneath a large bow-shaped bridge that sweeps from 11 o’clock to 7 o’clock, the components appear almost to be floating in three dimensions, the sense of visual depth and transparency enhanced by faceted indexes that are cantilevered from the chemin de fer minutes track. With a gleaming golden finish, the bridge, hour markers, gongs and several other components perfectly match the colour of the rose-gold watch case.

While the exuberance of the front dial contrasts with the rectilinear geometry of the Reverso case, the relative sobriety of the reverse dial echoes and amplifies those straight lines. Vertical Côtes de Genève stripes extend over the entire height of the main plate, which also serves as the dial. Showcasing the timekeeping mechanism, with subtle colour accents provided by blued screws and golden hands and hour markers, the cool silver tone of the metal provides an elegant counterpoint to the warm rose gold of the case.

Set into the side of the watch case, the slider that activates the chimes has been specially designed for the new Reverso Tribute Minute Repeater to be as slim as possible, without sacrificing ergonomics. Visually complementing the Art Deco lines of the case, the effect is one of great refinement.

In showcasing both technical complexity and the aesthetic crafts, the Reverso Tribute Minute Repeater underlines the eternal modernity of the Reverso design, marrying the technical prowess of the Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre to its eternal quest for new forms of visual expression.

Parmi les trésors de la collection emblématique Red Carpet de Chopard, la montre-bijou automatique «Magari» témoigne avec éclat de l’amour de la Maison pour le plus beau de tous les diamants issus de la richesse naturelle de la Terre.

L’âme créative de Chopard et initiatrice de son Journey to Sustainable Luxury, la coprésidente et directrice artistiqueCaroline Scheufele célèbre les merveilles de la nature à travers la nouvelle collection Red Carpet. Parmi les 73 créations de Haute Joaillerie composant ce précieux coffret – un numéro honorant le 73e Festival de Cannes qui aurait dû se tenir en 2020 – la montre joaillerie «Magari» rend hommage à des pierres précieuses d’exception. Grâce à leur savoir-faire unique, les Artisans de la Maison genevoise ont orné le cadran de ce garde-temps automatique à réserve de marche de 40 heures d’une subtile corolle de diamants en forme de poire totalisant plus de 32 carats. Sertis respectivement à 12 et 6 heures, un diamant fantaisie rose et bleu fantaisie en forme de poire pesant chacun deux carats rehaussent ce garde-temps d’une aura de pureté et de noblesse. Ils ont été spécialement sélectionnés pour leur brillance et leurs couleurs uniques, mis en valeur de manière spectaculaire par leur association avec les diamants blancs dont est revêtue le reste de cette montre joaillière.

Le cadran est orné de micro-sertis minutieux, tandis que le bracelet est également entièrement pavé de diamants, ressemblant à une rivière avec ses reflets étincelants le long du poignet. Hommage à la beauté de la nature et dialogue avec la lumière, l’ensemble de la montre joaillerie «Magari» est en or blanc éthique 18 carats reflétant l’engagement de Chopard en faveur du luxe durable.
