THE PALM JUMEIRAH 2
Sensational lighting and statement flourishes of furniture, art, and sculpture were introduced in this interior design project. A softer, calmer look and palette was adopted in taupes, off whites, and bluish greys for the family areas. Guest bedrooms followed a chic, beachy aesthetic, reflecting back the turquoise of the sea.
For this interior design project, a complete fit-out with a chic, opulent feel was briefed. This was a residence with a dual purpose. The main reception was earmarked for business entertaining. For the meeting and entertaining area, a contemporary-chic, masculine look was forged by luxuriously layering texture and jewel color, deep mauves and indigo blues with accents of gold and polished veneers of natural stone, and glass patina wall finishes.
KNIGHTSBRIDGE
This interior design project constituted a total renovation – the first since the 1950s – on an Art Deco-era London apartment. The brief was to create a light, airy, elegant, unfussy yet cozy space for various generations of the same family for whom this was a long-standing second home. Maximizing storage was key and the design needed to appeal to family members with different perspectives.
Rebirthing this Art Deco gem meant new custom joinery and furniture pieces, cleverly reworked storage and electrical containment, vibrant artwork, delicate Deco detailing, and the use of mirrors and lighting to maximize space.
EMIRATES HILLS 2
This brand new interior design project required striking new kitchens and bathrooms, external constructions of garages and a gym, and ambitious landscaping. A range of different traditions and styles needed to be considered. The family wanted their Persian roots to be reflected in the formal sitting room, plus a classically American, timber-clad study and a family living space with a lived-in, English Country aesthetic.
The master bedroom needed to be light, spacious, and airy, maximizing a splendid view. The entrance hall with a monochromatic patterned floor and grandiose stairwell exuded luxury, showcasing the clients’ paintings, installations, and sculptures with architectural lighting. Creamy pearl walls back-dropped a melange of Persian, French, and Brazilian art and British sculpture and custom-made furniture. The lighting in this interior design project created a beautiful, liveable, and welcoming environment.
EMIRATES HILLS 3
The brief for this interior design project needed to be capable of hosting dance parties. It folded in a television room for teenagers and adults, a room for card playing, a traditional snooker room, a kitchen, and a whisky bar.
This interior design project is distinct in style and space yet interconnected, with a free-flowing, club-like feel. Lighting was crucial, with color-changing LED systems interlinked with state-of-the-art audio-visual systems. Custom joinery and furniture and modern paneling, exquisite leathers, and solid oak timbers blended with sleeker contemporary finishes.
