The Geneva Supercar Show 2023 has finally come to the Domaine duGrand Malagny for its first edition

After months of excitement, the Geneva Supercar Show has finally come to the Domaine du Grand Malagny for its first edition with full of surprises. The four-day event welcomed cars enthusiasts on an exceptional journey to discover the most prestigious supercar manufacturers and their latest innovation.

The 6th of July 2023 marks the beginning of a wonderful adventure: The Geneva Supercar Show. The new supercar show welcomed more than 1’500 visitors for the very first time, with the aim of creating quite a statement. Franck Muller CEO, Nicholas Rudaz, alongside the Mayor of Genthod, Joël Schmulowitz, as well as the director of the event, Manoj Bairstow, and the Vieux Grenadiers, launched the festivities by cutting the ribbon at the opening ceremony.

At the entrance of the Domaine du grand Malagny, a line of supercars set the tone. Maserati, Lamborgini, McLaren P1 and Ferrari joined in, as did the Kimera EVO37 Martini 7 Edition, presented by Misha from The Torque Rally, a company specialising in motoring events. Lined up side by side, these sublime supercars set the scene, facing Geneva Lake. There’s no need for superfluity here, the cars spoke for themselves. In total, 17 exhibitors from Italy, France, Germany, UK and the USA had set up stands in Genthod to promote more than 21 hydrogen, electric and combustion-powered supercars.

Among them, the ‘Gumpert Apollo’, top 3 in lap times on the Top Gear test track and available in only two examples in France, maked its appearance. Straight from the Italian Grande Botte, Maserati presented the brand new MC20 Cielo for the first time to the Swiss market. Featuring a retractable glass roof and cutting-edge technology, this car promises an immersive driving experience, head in the clouds. At the GFG Style stand, visitors had the opportunity to meet Fabrizio Giugiaro, designer of the brand’s new concept car: Kangaroo, a two-seater off-road electric hyper-SUV with 4-wheel drive and 4-wheel steering. Aznom, on its part, was honoured to be present with its Palladium model, the world’s first hyper-SUV at 6 metres long and producing just 10 units worldwide.

On the French side, the collaboration between Alpine and students from the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Torino surprised aficionados with the Alpine A4810 by IED: a hydrogen-powered concept supercar, conceived as a ‘super sedan’ thanks to an aerodynamic design and elements reminiscent of Formula 1. Last but not least, Autowelt Schweiz unveiling two automotive monsters: the Mercedes-Benz Hofele HG63 Evolution Ultimate and the Mercedes-Benz Hofele HG63 / G 63 AMG, both of which have been tuned by the German car tuner Hofele; while the American brand Czinger, who travelled all the way from Los Angeles, presented its latest model, the 21C, valued at some €2 million.

From 30 March to 2 April 2023, Sorrento Roads by 1000 Miglia will cross Sorrento Peninsula, Gulf of Naples, Royal Palace of Caserta and Amalfi Coast.

The overall winner will be guaranteed acceptance to Coppa delle Alpi 2024.

Admitted cars

A maximum number of 40 modern and historic cars will be admitted to the competition.  Cars produced up to 1990 will be given priority in the selection.

From Sorrento to the Gulf of Naples, the Royal Palace of Caserta, the Amalfi Coast and back to Sorrento

Sorrento, the heart of the event and departure and arrival point on race days. Built on the cliff that separates it from the characteristic harbor, its historic center is a maze of narrow streets bustling with cafés, shops and typical artisans.

The walk between Piazza Tasso, the Cathedral, the church of San Francesco with its renowned cloister, Corso Italia, the citrus groves and the seafront promenade facing the Bay of Naples will offer participants a pleasant immersion in the town overlooking the sea.

The Gulf of Naples is universally recognized as one of the most beautiful corners of the world: historic and architectural treasures, wonders of antiquity and more recent history as well as fascinating natural scenery attract tourists from all over the world every year.

With Vesuvius, Capri, Ischia and Procida on the horizon, the Gulf has three large inlets: the small bay of Pozzuoli, the port of Naples and the bay of Castellammare.

There are two key entry passages: Bocca Grande, between Ischia and Capri, and Bocca Piccola, between Capri and Punta Campanella.

Designed in the 18th century by Luigi Vanvitelli at the behest of Charles III of Bourbon, the Royal Palace of Caserta is the triumph of Italian Baroque.

The beauty of the interiors, which include the King’s and Queen’s Apartments, the Palatine Library, the Picture Gallery and the Historical Archives, among others. The magnificence of the Park, divided into an Italian-style garden and an English garden, covers an area of 120 hectares and is almost three kilometers long, undoubtedly recalling the opulence of the Palace of Versailles.

The Amalfi Coast, characterized by an unrivalled gastronomic tradition, small towns overlooking the sea and a priceless historical heritage, stretches from Positano to Vietri sul Mare.

Characterized by high cliffs, enchanting coves and small bays, terraces of citrus fruits, vines, olive groves and artisan workshops, it is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List as a perfect example of a Mediterranean landscape with a setting of great cultural and natural value.

Entries are now open for the 2023 edition of Sorrento Roads by 1000 Miglia, the spring event that from March 30 to April 2 will offer a small number of participants the chance to immerse themselves in one of the world’s most envied Mediterranean landscapes.

Like last year, Sorrento is confirmed as the heart of the event: in fact, from here, on Friday, March 31, the “on the road” day will start, taking the participating cars to discover first the Royal Palace of Caserta and then the Amalfi Coast, offering the beauty of the view of high cliffs, enchanting coves, small bays and terraces of citrus fruits, vines, and olive trees.

The day of Saturday, April 1, will take place entirely in the center of Sorrento, where the participating cars will parade before being displayed for the Popular Jury’s evaluation. This will be followed by the 1 vs. 1 challenge in the city center, a knockout regularity trial that will award the City of Sorrento Trophy and conclude the sporting part of the event.

The Prize-Giving Ceremony and Gala Dinner will offer participants the chance to enjoy the food and wine delicacies of Campania and the warm hospitality of the area and its enthusiasts.

Cuervo y Sobrinos just released a new edition of the Historiador Asturias, featuring an anthracite dial. In addition, the Asturias collection is now equipped with the CYS 5124 movement, produced on a La Joux-Perret G100 base which has an impressive 68-hour power reserve.

Cuervo y Sobrinos was founded in 1882 by Cuervo and his nephews. This group of remarkable entrepreneurs and highly skilled goldsmiths originated from Asturias, a region in northwest Spain.

The Historiador Asturias honours those courageous emigrants who, in the 19th century, sailed to the Americas in the pursuit of fortune. Cuba proved a popular choice for the intrepid Asturians, eager to discover a new world and make a better life.


Historiador Asturias – Event Asturias is a principality located in northwest Spain. The industrial revolution reached this region at some point around 1830. The area was heavily dependent on coal mining and iron production. However, many citizens dreamed of a new life and chose to emigrate to the Americas, including Argentina, Uruguay, Puerto Rico, Mexico and, most pertinently, Cuba.
Ramón Fernández Cuervo an immigrant from Pravia, a town in Asturias, established a jewellery store in Havana in 1862. Many of the Asturians were entrepreneurial and some returned to their home in northwest Spain as wealthy individuals, however, Ramon remained in Cuba and when his business was on a sound footing, he invited many of his family members to join him in Havana.


The Cuervo y Sobrinos Historiador Asturias celebrates the birthplace of Don Ramon Cuervo, the founder of the company, his nephews and the many citizens from Asturias who chose to make Cuba their home. Collectively, these individuals have enriched Cuban society and helped make it what it is today.
